If it is necessary to communicate between radios from one server to another server we recommend to use Bridging Radio Networks across Different SmartPTT Radioservers.
1.Form a virtual IPSC radio network out of two radioservers:
- Create an IPSC network on each radioserver.
- In this network, configure one radioserver as main (Link Type is Master) and the other as peer (Link Type is Peer) with the first radioserver’s IP address and port set as Master Repeater
2. On the first radioserver, configure a bridge between a real radio network and the virtual radio network.
3. On the second radioserver, configure a bridge between its radio network and the virtual radio network.
As a result, when a call starts in one of the real radio networks, it is bridged to the virtual network and from there, to the other real network.
Every time a radio in one of the real networks initiates a call (group or all call), depending on bridging settings a total of four calls start: a call starts on each first slot of each radioserver. The recipient is the group to which the radio initiated the call. The calls are displayed on the Radio Fleet and Calls panels.
Radios on the other real radio network can receive the call and hear voice.
